Quick Facts

  • Monday through Friday schedule 2pm – 10pm shifts
  • No weekends or overnight coverage required
  • One neonatal nurse practitioner per shift
  • Newborn rounding duties in mother-baby unit
  • Coverage for C-section and indicated vaginal deliveries
  • Performs newborn circumcisions when indicated
  • Patient discharge planning and education responsibilities
  • Quality improvement activities included in role
