Quick Facts

  • 1-2 weeks per month — mix of clinic, cath lab, and inpatient coverage
  • 1-2 STEMIs per weekend — 8-10 hospital admits daily
  • Weeknight call 1:7 — weekend call one weekend per month
  • Hospitalist team admits patients
  • Expertise in coronary interventions and heart catheterizations required
  • IABP placement and vascular study interpretation required
  • Optional skills: TEE, nuclear medicine, echos, and stress testing
  • Pulmonary embolectomy/thrombectomy preferred but not required
