  • Typically 4 shifts per week/80 per fortnight
  • Morning and afternoon shifts
  • Night call with afternoon shifts
  • 120 patients per day
  • 10% minor trauma, 5% geriatric, 15% ortho, 3% pediatric, and acute medical/surgery
  • About 200 severe trauma cases per year
  • Mid-sized city with lots of outdoor activities
